Ucross invites Native American visual artists and writers at any stage of their careers to apply for our Spring 2026 artist residency program. Fellows receive dedicated time and space to focus on their work, along with private studio spaces, comfortable living accommodations, chef-prepared meals, a stipend, an award, and full staff support. All of this is set amid the majestic High Plains of Wyoming. Selected fellows are offered a four-week residency and the opportunity to present their work publicly through a reading or featured gallery exhibition at Ucross.
