Riyadh Art (@riyadhartofficial) extended the Tuwaiq Sculpture 2026 open call till 1st of October 2025, inviting artists worldwide to submit proposals for the seventh edition of the symposium themed ‘Traces of What Will Be’, which will take place in January and February 2026. A total of 25 artists will be selected to create original sculptures, integrating granite with stainless steel or using reclaimed metal, to be permanently installed across Riyadh, further enriching the city's public art landscape. In parallel with the Open Call, Riyadh Art announced the curators for Tuwaiq Sculpture 2026 as Sarah Staton (@_sarahstaton_ ), an artist and director of Spatial Value Catalyst at the Royal College of Art; Rut Blees Luxemburg (@rutbleesluxemburg), an artist and director of Spatial Value Catalyst and professor of Urban Aesthetics at the Royal College of Art; and Lulwah Al Homoud (@lulwah_al_homoud) an artist, curator and visual communication expert.
